Our story

Three boys.
A pocket-money promise.

I'm Bas, founder of One2Save and dad to three boys. The idea for Pocket started at home, with a simple promise and a few missing coins.

A familiar problem

The promise was simple. Finding the coins wasn't.

I'd promised the boys pocket money. But I pay for almost everything with my phone, so I rarely had a few loose euros when the day came.

I even tried getting change at the shops. They needed their coins too. There had to be an easier way.

A clever solution. Almost.

Then came King's Day.

The boys and I were selling their old toys on a blanket. I printed a Tikkie QR code so buyers could pay into my account. Pretty clever, I thought. But some buyers still paid cash.

But what belonged to whom?

After about five sales, I'd lost track of what each boy had earned. The coins could go into their piggy banks. But how was I supposed to add the digital money?

Coins in a bag.
Tikkies in my account.

A place for their money

The idea was born.

Each boy needed a place for his own money. That's why I'm developing Pocket: a digital piggy bank they can see and hold, with an app for parents to manage it. A place for pocket money, gifts and little earnings.
